FULL MOON · PURVA ASHADA
Moon Circle
A gathering under the waters of the sky
Monday, June 29th · 5:30 pm The Shala, Mendocino · or Online
Purva Ashada is the nakshatra of the invincible one. Ruled by Apas — the Vedic goddess of the primordial waters — she carries the medicine of purification, buoyancy, and early victory. This is a lunation that loosens what has been held too tightly, cleanses what has grown stagnant, and reminds us that we are, at our core, capable of being renewed.
The full moon illuminates what Purva Ashada began: the quiet declarations we made to ourselves, the commitments we're being asked to honor, the places where we are ready — even if we don't yet feel ready — to rise.
We will gather in that spirit.
Together we'll move through gentle yoga to open and settle the body, pranayama to clear and direct the breath, and close in a long sound bath — a full immersion in resonance and stillness. This is a practice of receiving. Come as you are.
