New Moon Circle & Sound Bath — Kṛttikā Nakshatra
Saturday, May 16 • 5:30pm • The Shala + livestream option

The New Moon in Kṛttikā invites us into the sacred fire of purification.

Kṛttikā is the star of the cosmic flame—the sharp, intelligent fire that burns away what no longer serves so clarity, strength, and new beginnings can emerge. In the Vedic tradition, Kṛttikā is connected with the divine mothers who nurture and protect the young god Skanda, reminding us that transformation is not only about destruction, but also about protection, courage, and the birth of new power.

On this New Moon we gather to consciously release stagnation, refine intention, and ignite inner clarity as we step into the next lunar cycle.

The evening will include:

• Mythic storytelling on the meaning of Kṛttikā and the sacred fire of transformation
• Gentle breathwork and somatic practices to clear emotional and energetic residue
• A New Moon intention ritual aligned with the purifying fire element
• Mantra and subtle Tantrik practices to kindle inner radiance
• A deep sound bath to settle the nervous system and integrate the work

New Moons are a time to return to stillness and plant seeds for what is to come. Kṛttikā helps us do this with honesty, courage, and a willingness to let the fire refine us.

Come reset your energy, release the old cycle, and step forward with renewed clarity.

No experience necessary. All are welcome.
